2011 MYA Fall Softball information page The Fall Seson starts September 3rd and runs until the end of October. Merrimack joins in with the Souheagan Valley softball league which consists of towns such as Bedford, Amherst, Hollis, and Milford to play some organized games in these neighboring towns. The 3 age groups (Minors, Majors, and Juniors) play up through the age of 16 for those girls who would like to add a couple more months of ball play before the snow starts to fly. There will be approximately 8 scheduled games on Saturdays in this time frame, and teams usually practice 1 night a week under the discretion of the coach. Currently we have 1 coach slated for the Minors, and 2 coaches slated for the Juniors. We do not yet have anyone who has stepped up to head the Majors team.
